Shelly is a Mississippi born, bred, educated and trained trial attorney with two decades of civil litigation experience. She is a career defense attorney who has managed all phases and aspects of civil litigation encompassing pre-trial practice (including electronic discovery and motion practice), served as sole or lead trial counsel in dozens of jury and bench trials (including numerous large exposure catastrophic injury and wrongful death cases taken to verdict), and managed appeals (including oral argument) in federal and state courts. She has also worked independently and as an integral member of teams managing high exposure multi-jurisdictional litigation in federal and state courts nationwide.
